  21.       This manual page documents the GNU version of    cccchhhhoooowwwwnnnn.    cccchhhhoooowwwwnnnn
  22.       changes the user and/or group    ownership of each given    file,
  23.       according to its first non-option argument, which is
  24.       interpreted as follows.  If only a user name (or numeric
  25.       user ID) is given, that user is made the owner of each given
  26.       file,    and the    files' group is    not changed.  If the user name
  27.       is followed by a colon or dot    and a group name (or numeric
  28.       group    ID), with no spaces between them, the group ownership
  29.       of the files is changed as well.  If a colon or dot but no
  30.       group    name follows the user name, that user is made the
  31.       owner    of the files and the group of the files    is changed to
  32.       that user's login group.  If the colon or dot    and group are
  33.       given, but the user name is omitted, only the    group of the
  34.       files    is changed; in this case, cccchhhhoooowwwwnnnn    performs the same
  35.       function as cccchhhhggggrrrrpppp.
